जब कृष्ण जिंदा थे तो कौन हिन्दू था ? हिन्दू शब्द भी नहीं था।  जब कोई जीवित गुरु मौजूद होता हैं, तब ध्रर्म विशेषण -रहित होता हैं।  जब गुरु विदा हो जाता हैं , धीरे-धीरे पंडित-पुरोहित इकट्ठे होते हैं ,फिर विशेषण महत्वपूर्ण होने लगता हैं।  जहाँ विशेषण बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हो जाये ,  निकल भागना।  अब  वहाँ कुछ भी नहीं हैं - राख हैं।  अंगारा बुझ चुका ।   और जिसके ह्रदय में परमात्मा विरह की छुरी चुभ गयी ,अब किसी औषधि से यह बात हल होनेवाली नहीं हैं।   अब यह कोई इलाज से  किसी औषधि से यह  हल नहीं होगी । पश्चिम में  हज़ारों तरह की बीमारियोंका इलाज खोजा जाता हैं।  लेकिन अभी पश्चिम में इस बीमारी के सम्बन्ध में कुछ ख़याल नहीं हैं।  पश्चिमके चिकित्सकोंको ,कि ऐसी भी बीमारी होती हैं - भक्त की बीमारी , प्रेमी की बीमारी - जिसका कोई इलाज इस संसार में नहीं हैं। जापान इ झेन की हज़ारों साल की परंपरा के बाद ऐंसा अनुभव जापानके डाक्टरोंको होना शुरू हुआ कि कुछ लोग एक अजीब तरह की बीमारी से ग्रसित हो जाते हैं , जिसका पागलपन   कोई संबन्ध  हैं , लेकिन पागलपन जैसी लगती हैं , तो जापान अकेला मुल्क हैं साड़ी द

ചെമ്പകശ്ശേരി രാജാവിന് രണ്ടു സൈന്യാധിപരാണ്  ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് . ആദ്യത്തേത് അതീവ സത്യസന്ധനും , പിന്നെ ആയോധന കലയുടെ പ്രശസ്തിയും , അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ വൈദ്യവൃത്തിയിൽ അതീവ നിപുണതയും, പ്രഭുത്വവും ഒത്തു ചേർന്ന സവിശേഷ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിന് ഉടമയായ  ശ്രീമാൻ വെള്ളൂർ  കുറുപ്പ് , രണ്ടാമത്തേത് തുളുനാട്ടിലെ ദ്രോണം പിള്ളി  നായ്ക്കരുടെ ആരാധനാ വിഗ്രഹം കപടതയിലൂടെ കരസ്ഥമാക്കി അമ്പലപ്പുഴയെത്തിയ മാത്തൂർ  പണിക്കരും. പ്രസ്തുത വിഗ്രഹം തിരഞ്ഞു അമ്പലപ്പുഴയെത്തിയ ദ്രോണമ്പിള്ളി നായ്ക്കർക്ക് ഗുരുസ്ഥാനം  കൽപ്പിച്ചനുഗ്രഹിച്ച് നല്കി  , സൂത്രത്തിൽ നെടുമുടിയിൽ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രവും പണിയിച്ചു കൊടുത്ത്  , അവിടെ കുടിയിരുത്തിയ ശേഷം , ആ മഹായോദ്ധാവിന്റെ  സന്നിഹിതിയുടെ പിൻബലത്തിൽ അമ്പലപ്പുഴ രാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യാധിപനായി മാറിയ മാത്തൂർ  പണിക്കരും. എങ്കിലും രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ മുൻ പറഞ്ഞ കാരണങ്ങളാൽ  വെള്ളൂർ കുറുപ്പവർകൾക്കു തന്നെയായിരുന്നു എന്നും മുൻഗണന . ഇതിനാൽ പണിക്കർക്ക് , കുറുപ്പദ്ദേഹത്തോട്‌ കടുത്ത അസൂയയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നെടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടതില്ലല്ലോ ....? ഒരിക്കൽ രാജാവിന്റെയും , മാത്തൂർ  പണിക്കരുടെയും സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ കൊട്ടാര മുറ്റത്തെ വരി
